This showed up in my inbox about 45 minutes ago… Ooops. Thanks for sending me this, VMware! Although not directly impacted by this effort – the clients that I’m working with are all scrambling.
Essentially if you restart a virtual server running on VMware ESX 3.5 with update 2 on it, it will fail to come back online due to a licensing key debacle. No work around besides setting your clock back? Ouch!! Get that patch out yesterday already!
